According to yieh.com, the Jajarm Alumina Plant in the Iranian province of North Khorasan has officially announced the launch of aluminum billet production. The production capacity of the plant is expected to be 40 thousand tons per year. According to the Iranian Department of Mining Development (IMIDRO), the stable operation of the enterprise will increase production to 120 thousand tons.
Foreign investment in this production has reached € 94 million.
