According to Dow Jones, rising costs forced Universal Stainless & Alloy Products to raise prices by 5-25% for flat and square and hexagonal sections, which are produced at a factory in Dunkirk (New York). The company refers to the “current inflationary environment in the metals sector” and notes that it needs to raise prices to support the investment program in its capacity.
The current premium on the cost of raw materials and energy remains at the same level.
