China's steel demand grows steadily in Q2
According to Yieh.com, since the beginning of 2020, due to the impact of the coronavirus epidemic, demand for steel in China has declined significantly. Nevertheless, there is still room for growth in demand for steel in China, and it was expected that stable growth in demand for steel in the second quarter and the whole year will not change.
China's steel production in April grew by 7.7% on a monthly basis, with an obvious recovery trend. Chinese steelmakers have been actively ramping up production to reduce demand, and the recovery in steel prices has also boosted the benefits of steel products.
Stocks of steel in China continued to decline since April.
At the same time, there were many countries that resumed work in April, and the demand for Chinese metal products will increase accordingly.
