Steel production in China is expected to grow 3-5% in 2020 from last year to more than 1 billion tons, according to Reuters, according to the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA).
Global steel production rose 2.9% year-on-year to 156.4 million tonnes in September, the second straight month of growth after five months of decline, boosted by a strong recovery in China, the World Steel Association (WSA) said.
