Asian prices for cold-rolled stainless steel remain stable

As reported by Yieh.com, prices for cold-rolled stainless steel in the Asian region remained stable last week.

Meanwhile, cold-rolled steel prices in China rose due to a lack of stocks as well as high futures prices.

Over the entire past week, the price level on the domestic Chinese market did not change much, only a few small fluctuations were observed.

Although the spot price in the South China region rose slightly as the stocked material price was still high, there was still room for price reductions.

In addition, the cost of stainless steel production is still very high at the moment, so steel mills are struggling to keep the price from falling further.
