The Brazilian Foreign Trade Secretariat (SECEX) announced that it would extend the anti-dumping investigation on high-carbon steel wire imported from China.
The product participating in the first study is high mechanical strength, 3 or 7 strands, low relaxation high carbon steel wire, classified according to HS code 7312.10.90. The investigation was extended for two months from May 1.
The subject of another survey was China's cold-drawn high resistance high carbon steel wire, numbered HS 7217.10.19 and 7217.10.90. The final judgment will be announced on June 7.
