The European Commission has decided to maintain the current anti-dumping tariffs on certain corrosion-resistant steel products (CRS) imported from China between 17.2% and 27.9%, depending on the supplier. Of the European Union
The tariff was first implemented in 2018 for a period of five years and began revision in February 2023. The investigation involves the following customs codes:7210410020,721049020,7210610020,721069020,72123000020,7212506120,721225992,7226993010 and 7226997094.
According to the Global Trade Atlas (GTA), the main destinations for China's CRS exports are Thailand, South Korea, Vietnam, Brazil, Indonesia, Israel, Chile, Peru, and Japan. The average export prices of these products are 15% lower than the average prices in the EU market during the survey period.
