According to Reuters, China's steel product exports increased by 25.35% year-on-year in March, reaching 9.89 million tons, the highest level since July 2016, against the backdrop of slow domestic demand recovery.
According to customs data, the production in the first quarter of March was 25.8 million tons, the highest level since 2016, with a year-on-year increase of 30.7%.
In March, China's steel imports decreased by 9.26% to 617000 tons. The total production from January to March decreased by 8.6% year-on-year to 1.75 million tons.
