The emergence of Shanghai Chamber of Commerce For Import and Export

On Nov 12,2009, Jack Zhu, the general manager of HYSS, was invited to to attend the inaugural meeting of Shanghai Chamber of Commerce For Import and Export in interstate center.

Upon City commerce department, city civil department and city group managing department permission. Shanghai Foreign Economic and Trade Enterprises Association renamed to Shanghai Chamber of Commerce For Import and Export formally.

Jiang Yiren, the CPPCC Standing Committee member and Zou Keren, chairman of Federation of Economic Organizations¡¢vice minister of Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation inaugurate for this commerce chamber.

Shanghai Chamber of Commerce For Import and Export is a body corporate which engage in import and export trade and related business, with each member join volutarily and bound by industry-based, non-profit social organizations.

The first meeting of initial council elects 5 Executive members of the council and 2 vice-chairmen.Tang Qingfu was elected as the first chairman. Furthermore, the commerce chamber employed Jiang Yiren, CPPCC Standing Committee member; Zhou Yupeng and Ren Shalin deputy directors of Shanghai National People's Congress; Zhu Xiaoming and Wang Xinkui, vice chairman of Shanghai CPPCCL; Zhou Bo, the director of Shanghai Development and Reform Commission as honorary chairmen.

With the emergence of Shanghai Chamber of Commerce For Import and Export, as the further developments for Shanghai import and export business, for the prosperity of Shanghai foreign trade, for establishment a international center of foreign trade.
